We also ask all visitors to the custertrail.com web site to share any knowledge they may have of the 1874 Black Hills Expedition. We believe there may be additional unpublished diaries, letters, photographs, or other memorabilia or oral history still unknown to researchers, which may shed light on some of the remaining mysteries of the Expedition.

We are also interested in viewing copies (even photocopies) of any original stereoviews or photographs by Expedition photographer W.H. Illingworth, which may help us in our research on this interesting aspect of the Black Hills Expedition.
